Life with fibromyalgia can be tough. It can be downright debilitating at times. On day 13 of a very wicked fibro flare I finally started feeling human again. Not quite 100% mind you, but it appears I am finally on the downside of this one.
“Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be wonderful.”
I have had this quote in my office for a few weeks now and just haven’t found the time/energy/motivation to write anything. After 100+ days of quarantine, one cancelled vacation, getting birthday wishes from my husband on the wrong day, and rediscovering hobbies that make me happy, I have definitely discovered that life doesn’t have to be perfect to be wonderful. Sometimes you just have to make your own happiness and joy.

It’s the last day of Pain Awareness Month and I wanted to share a quote to remind everyone not to lose hope. Chronic and acute pain can often lead to exhaustion, depression, or despair. Maintaining a positive outlook that better days are ahead can help overcome some of that. Hope for less pain, better treatments, or maybe even a cure.
“Don’t lose hope. Even when it’s dark, the stars come out.”
