I have had this quote in my office for a few weeks now and just haven’t found the time/energy/motivation to write anything. After 100+ days of quarantine, one cancelled vacation, getting birthday wishes from my husband on the wrong day, and rediscovering hobbies that make me happy, I have definitely discovered that life doesn’t have to be perfect to be wonderful. Hard to believe it’s been a month since we have been under “stay at home” orders here in Texas. I thankfully have been working the entire time, mostly at home. And no cleaning closets or planting flowers for me. The shorter commute seems to have translated into longer work days. Yikes!
But on the bright side, I am eating well, taking frequent walks, spending more time with my family cooking, baking, and doing puzzles. And I am not dealing with the stress of commuting!
