200 Followers! Thank You!

Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy.

I reached a milestone today, so I wanted to say Thank You! It probably doesn’t seem like much to many of you, but this little blog of mine has very much been a grassroots effort to me.

The Sunshine Blogger Award

Wow! Grateful and humbled by my nomination from Sara AKA FibroButterfly18 who writes the blog The Last Days of Pompeii . Her blog, like mine, is written from the perspective of someone who lives with fibromyalgia and other chronic conditions, but doesn’t let it define her. She looks at each day as a gift and is much happier for it. So check out her blog.

And before I could even get this blog post finished, I was also nominated by LadyFibroWarrior, who was on my list of nominees before I heard from her about nominating me! She is another awesome fibrowarrior blogging about life with fibromyalgia and maintaining a positive attitude.

Please check them both of these lovely ladies’ blogs out. You know you want to! And Thank you both for honoring me with this. Continue reading “The Sunshine Blogger Award”

Thank you, FBD!

I just want to take a moment to thank Lee at Fibro Blogger Directory for adding my site to the directory:

Fibro_Bloggers_D260

I have admired many of these bloggers for several years now, so I am grateful to be included amongst them. I have been working hard these past few months to be more deliberateconsistent, and relevant with my content, and write about what I know. And I feel my work is paying off!

Tired isn’t just a state of mind for me, it’s a fact of life. Living with fibromyalgia I never know from day to day how I will feel. The last few weeks my social media and blogging presence have been waning, as I have been taking a bit of a self-imposed break. I have been trying to rest physically, mentally, and spiritually.

This morning I started my day writing in my gratitude journal and drinking my coffee, sitting in a quiet and peaceful house. I realized I hadn’t taken the time to properly thank several people, as I have been #blessed recently to have won a variety of prizes from various bloggers and businesses. (Up until recently, I considered myself one of those people who never won anything!)

It started early in November when I won the grand prize gift basket at a ladies holiday event given by a local Chamber of Commerce, with a variety of prizes from local retailers and restaurants. I used some of the restaurant gift cards to bless others with meals. That prize was the result of a charitable donation I made to a local non-profit. You know what they say about the riches you receive when you give… Continue reading “Gratitude and Coffee”
