Although I was diagnosed with it in 2000, I have just in the last few years started sharing my journey. I started my blog to share my strategies for life with fibromyalgia and to inspire others to seek healthy lifestyle changes and find joy in their lives, despite those challenges they might be facing. It’s a cold Sunday morning here in Texas. I am alone in the house, and it is quiet except for the wind. I am sitting here enjoying my coffee and trying to tackle my overflowing To Do list that has gotten a wee bit out of control this week. Too many unchecked items!! The last several days at work have been crazy and my evenings have been filled with functions and fund-raisers. I haven’t had quiet time like this in quite some time it seems.

Fibro Fog. Brain Fog. Senior Moments.
People who live with Fibromyalgia (FMS) refer to their Brain Fog moments as “Fibro Fog.” This common symptom is characterized by short-term memory loss, cognitive issues, difficulties concentrating or retaining information, transposing letters/numbers, just to name a few.
I find my symptoms growing worse as I get older. I am transposing numbers all of the time. It takes me longer to do simple tasks sometimes as a result. And it is definitely harder for me to remember something someone told me a few minutes ago. Just ask my family.
