I consider myself very fortunate in that I do not take medicine, I rarely take sick days, and I have managed to carry on with changes to my lifestyle. It’s no secret that I think smoothies are the perfect way to start your day off right. Done right, they are healthy and taste great. I believe that good nutrition is key to staving off the pain and fatigue of fibromyalgia, so I enjoy a smoothie almost daily for breakfast (and sometimes lunch).

Spring Fibro Update

And how I cope with fibromyalgia flares

I just left my doctor’s office for my annual physical and was given a clean bill of health. Well except for my fibromyalgia, that is. That ugly beast is still with me. My doctor rewarded me with not having to do blood work this time. No needless poking! I also received my last Prolia injection! In six months I will switch to a different medication for two years, and then should be done with medication for osteoporosis.

It’s a nice feeling to think you are doing something right with your health.
