Letter Board No. 29

Monday – the day when even my coffee needs coffee.

I am a huge fan of coffee. My love of Mondays doesn’t extend quite that far, but I try to approach each week with a good attitude towards what I can accomplish each week. I started my Letter Board series as a way to inject some #MondayMotivation into the week. Today, you get a Monday morning letterboard two-fer, because I am using my powers for good rather than evil. šŸ˜‰

I hope my caffeine uses its powers for good rather than evil today. @photobaugh

It’s no secret that I love coffee. I wrote a post last year about the Correlation between Caffeine and Pain. Avoiding caffeine is one thing recommended for those with fibromyalgia that I just cannot seem to do. I wean myself back or switch to tea, and then I have one of those sleepless, pain-filled nights and I need my coffee to get me through the day. I do pretty well on all of the other evils like sugar and gluten, so when it comes to caffeine most days I take an “All things in moderation” approach.

Last week literally kicked my butt. It was a long work week with a lot of pain and a few sleepless nights. I have recharged this weekend and am preparing for a great week ahead.

“May today be the start of a wonderful week for you.” Frank Tyger

Cheers and positive Monday vibes!

  1. “Even my coffee needs coffee” šŸ˜‚ Do you think your coffee intake actually increases pain? Considering the issues you experience when cutting it down/out, I’d go for your approach of sticking to it but ‘everything in moderation’. I wish I liked coffee – love the smell, and frothy coffees in cafes look delicious, but I hate the taste. Instead, I’m a tea addict. Countless cups every day, black.. I bet it’s stained my insides after all these years! šŸ˜‚ xx
