200 Followers! Thank You!

Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy.

I reached a milestone today, so I wanted to say Thank You! It probably doesn’t seem like much to many of you, but this little blog of mine has very much been a grassroots effort to me.

A few months ago I sat down and wrote down a few goals for my blog. One of those goals was: “Increase blog followers to 200 and twitter followers to 1000 by the end of the year.” As this is early June, I am approximately 6 months early on the blog half of that goal. I am 60 away on Twitter, as I write this.

I am learning blogging as I go, and writing what I know. Talking about my experience with fibromyalgia and healthy choices isn’t exactly riveting news to most. So I am grateful to have you reading, liking, and commenting on my posts; overlooking my mistakes; and sharing part of your day with me.

Blogging Tips I Have Learned

When I reached 100 followers, I wrote a post with these (since updated) blogging tips:

  • Consistency is Key: I have definitely gotten better about posting content these past two months, which has helped me reach this goal.
  • Be Authentic: Life is not all perfectly posed pictures and I don’t always have time to pull out my DSLR, so my iPhone camera has to do. To this day, my best read post is still the one where I talked about my blogging journey and my screw-ups. 🙂 Write about what you know and what makes you happy!
  • Share Your Content: Some of my other big days have come from link-ups I do with the FibroBlogger Directory and I was doing the  WordPress prompts for a while, just to get some ideas, but Lee of Fibroblogger Directory has been sharing prompts on my topic of interest, so that has been a HUGE help. I also share on Twitter, Pinterest, and most recently Instagram. (Facebook is just a personal presence that I keep separate from my blog).

Thank you for making my soul blossom today! I am grateful, humbled, and happy! What are you grateful for today?

Cheers!Cynthia3
