The Flower Doesn’t Dream

“The flower doesn’t dream of the bee. It blossoms and the bee comes.” ~Mark Nepo

I aspire to be a better photographer, and with anything, it just takes time and practice. I have found one of my favorite things is macro nature photography – especially flowers, bees, and butterflies. I am currently using an older Olympus E-510 to shoot. One of these days I will buy a newer, faster, better resolution camera. But for now, I am still honing my skills.

One of my favorite blogs to follow is Cee’s Photography, to see what beautiful flowers or oddball things she has found to photograph. So today, after seeing her beautiful tulips, I decided to join in on the fun. Here is a cornflower, from a field of wildflowers in Texas.
